For those curious about why the heck I was in the hospital for the last 2+ days (and THANK YOU to the many of you that reached out - you were such a welcome distraction), here's the gist:
Talk about a fun Friday! Trish and I got all dressed up Friday night for the Salem-Keizer Crystal Apple awards. This event honors the hard work of educators in our massive district and it was so kind of my coworkers to nominate me for this year's event.
Don't tell my biker friends, but this winter I've been quietly shaking out my running legs to see if I can compete in something a little different than ultra-endurance cycling: ultra running!
I've got some big goals for 2023. Honestly, they scare me a little. But it's comforting to know that at least one of the variables in these big efforts - nutrition - is covered. Thanks @hammernutrition for fueling the efforts for another year.
